Who we are

Red Dragon Social Club ("RDSC", "we", "us") is a mahjong community based in the Netherlands. We host regular events and sell tickets through this website. You can reach us at reddragonsocialclub@gmail.com.

What data we collect and why

Name & email addressCollected at checkout to send your ticket confirmation and booking management link. Required to fulfil your order.

Payment informationProcessed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Notify-me emailIf you sign up to be notified when a sold-out ticket becomes available, we store your email for that purpose only. It is deleted once we send the notification.

Usage analyticsWe use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the site is used (page views, load performance). No personal identifiers are collected.

IP addressTemporarily used to rate-limit checkout, refund, and notify-me requests (preventing abuse), and may appear in error reports if something breaks. Not linked to your name or used for tracking.

Admin login sessionOur login provider (Clerk) sets a session cookie on every visit so it can recognise signed-in staff on admin pages. If you don't sign in, this cookie stays empty/anonymous, see "Cookies" below.

How long we keep your data

Booking records (name, email, tickets purchased) are retained for up to 2 years for accounting and dispute purposes, then automatically deleted by a nightly cleanup job. Notify-me signups are deleted as soon as we email you about an open spot, or automatically once the event they relate to has passed. Reservation tokens for free tickets that are never completed expire and are purged within a day.

We share your data only with the following processors to operate the service:

Neon: database hosting (EU region). neon.tech/privacy-policy

Sentry: error monitoring, so we can catch and fix bugs. sentry.io/privacy
Clerk: login/session management for our admin team. clerk.com/privacy

Cookies

We don't use marketing or advertising cookies. Our login provider, Clerk, sets a strictly-necessary session cookie on every page so it can recognise signed-in admin staff; for ordinary visitors and ticket buyers this cookie carries no personal data. Vercel Analytics is cookieless. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function, we don't show a cookie-consent banner, you can still clear or block cookies in your browser at any time, which won't affect your ability to browse or buy tickets.

Your rights (GDPR)

As an EU resident you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at reddragonsocialclub@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
