TERMS OF USE

Who we are

Red Dragon Social Club ("RDSC", "we", "us") is a mahjong social club based in the Netherlands. These terms apply whenever you browse this website or book a ticket to one of our events. By using the site or completing a booking, you agree to them. You can reach us at reddragonsocialclub@gmail.com.

Tickets & payment

Ticket prices are shown on each event page. Paid orders are processed by Stripe (card or iDEAL) and include a service fee, currently 1.5% of the order plus €0.25, shown separately as "Service fee" at checkout before you pay. Free tickets (where the total is €0.00) skip payment and are confirmed once you submit your name and email on the confirmation page.

Some ticket tiers have limited capacity or a sales cutoff date, and secret/early-access tiers may require a link sent directly to you. We reserve the right to cancel an order that was placed in error (for example, a ticket sold past its actual capacity due to a technical fault) and will refund it in full if that happens.

Cancellations & refunds

You can cancel a booking yourself from the Manage Booking link in your confirmation email, up until the cutoff shown on that event's page (by default 4 days before the event, though organisers can set a different window per event). After that cutoff, tickets are non-refundable, if something comes up last minute, email us and we'll do our best to help.

Refunds cover the base ticket price only. The service fee charged at checkout is a processing cost and is not refunded, whether you cancel yourself or we cancel an event. When a paid booking is refunded, the refund is issued back to your original payment method and typically takes 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

If we cancel or reschedule an event outright, you'll be offered a full refund of the base ticket price regardless of the cutoff above.

At our events

Our events are a shared social space, so we ask everyone to:

• Be welcoming to newcomers regardless of background or experience level.
• Respect the space, the venue, other players, and the game.
• Not harass, exclude, or behave in an oppressive way toward anyone, this will not be tolerated.
• Not gamble for money or stakes of any kind. RDSC events are social play only.

We can refuse entry or ask someone to leave an event, without a refund, if they seriously or repeatedly break these expectations. Some venues serve alcohol, if so, their own minimum age and house rules apply, and it's your responsibility to meet them; RDSC does not itself verify attendee age at checkout.

Photos & media

We sometimes take photos at events and share them on our Community page or on social media to showcase the club. If you'd rather not appear in these, let a host know on the day or email us and we'll leave you out of future posts and remove existing photos you're in on request.

Liability

We put real effort into running safe, well-organised events, but attending is at your own risk. To the extent permitted under Dutch law, RDSC is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to belongings at an event, except where caused by our own negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Intellectual property

The RDSC name, logo, and the content on this website are owned by us or used with permission and may not be copied or reused without asking first. See our Copyright & IP Policy for how to reach out about this, including how to report content you believe infringes your rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the club and site evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above; continuing to use the site or book tickets after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be brought before the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence.
